The
Government Primary School is the compulsory educational institution in a village.
Primary school has classes from 1 to 5 Standard. In this, free education is
given to the students with free uniforms, books, bags and etc. Through this Government institution many children are being benefited, mainly the vulnerable children.
After this the illiteracy rate in the country has been much reduced and the rate
of children going to school has been increased. Different types of learning
techniques have been initiated for the children like Phonetics (sound based
learning) through which the students can easily understand the words and the
learned words are written in the blackboards (small size made for the students)
by the students. Active Based Learning (ABL) has been thought to the students
by not only merely studying it but also applying it. Scholarships to the ST/SC, for both boys and girls, students are given
by the Government. Even
students are given afternoon meals (which is the part of midday meal scheme of government) based on the menu given by the Government
and it was monitored by the staff appointed by the Government. The maintenance
of the School is taken care by the Panchayat President of the particular
village and an amount of 10000 rupees have been given by the Panchayat for it.
The issues and problems met by the village school are cleared by the President/VAO
(Village Administrative Officer).
It
is not that the private schools are the best institutions. Nowadays the
Government schools are as equal as the private schools. Awareness about the
Government schools should be given to the people then
only that myth around the people can be eradicated.
